knock, knock.
Who's there?
The number of times that I've changed my template and posted about it recently may have become a kind of joke to you; but I'm doing it again since I've realized that a black background can be a kind of eyesore to some people. Also, one of my professors from the German department at Michigan told my class never to use black with white or light font on powerpoint presentations. Why the person who made the slides in my presentation group used exactly black with white lettering is beyond my understanding, but nevertheless, I think it's all around better not to strain your eyes on the computer more than is already necessary.
That said, does any one have any comments, criticisms, anything to share? I'd be happy to hear about whatever you'd care to say. :)
I hope things on your part of the world are going very well. What's the weather like over there?

hmm, i've meant to comment on several of the most recent posts, but gotten sidetracked. in any case, i DID remember the black template from a year or so ago; i wholeheartedly support the making of lists - particularly of life goals and life accomplishments; and the weather here is cooling, but slowly. i sent you a letter last week... it's really long, and may be monotonous, or just thick.
are you on break? little mention of grading papers lately. i hope you are enjoying whatever you're up to.
random note: i realized yesterday that i haven't written poetry since april.
this is lengthy. i'm not sorry. ;)
much love!!

NH! Thanks so much for your comments--and for the hope of a letter! I think I knew that about you that you make lists--but whatever lists you seem to publicize somehow always seem more interesting than the lists I'm used to.
What's your apt. # again? Remember the thing I forgot to write on the envelopes. I've got another letter for you, but can't find the place where you told me the add. info.
I'm not yet on break, but there's only a week left. And I've rationed out my grading so that I can manage it all... trying to stop complaining about it and just get it done. So far, it's going well with Jesus' help.
About the poetry: maybe you just haven't had anything to write poetry about since April... but I bet that's not true. I say, don't worry if it comes out nicely or not. Just keep writing and giving your writing to God. I haven't written as much poetry as I would've liked... and I'm not sure I like what I've written... but, that's another deal.
Hope you are well!
With love--

B-go;
As for the backgrounds, the industry (education) standard is: for computer screens, dark text on light background. For projectors, esp. in darkened rooms, light text on dark backgrounds.
And speaking of German professors, remember the old joke: "The problem with eating German food is, an hour later you're hungry for power."
:-)
C'mon, that's funny.
Peace,
Taiko-ma
