baboon or chipmonk face?
In honor of two bloggers I know, I will start this post with a little background information about my current Missouri whereabouts. Although my parents use the hum-drum dial-up internet connection service that I typically associate with slowness and age--their computers have also decided to carry on as if they were older than they actually are (at least, they had been doing this until the church where my parents attend let their Geek Squad serviced one of the computers up. It's doing so much better now.)--I managed to find a back corner of the house where I have access to a neighbor's wireless signal. This happened about three days ago and has since allowed me to cast hours and hours of the time I might otherwise use by playing spider solitaire while waiting for a page to upload on my parents' computers, on actually getting to the pages I want to--without the guilt that comes with tying up my parents' phone line.
So, anyway. I have a white ice pack velcroed about my head. I put it there to help prevent my face from swelling too much after getting my wisdom teeth surgically removed. So far, I look like I've gained some weight there in the face-region. Ah, well. At least my nephew thinks it's funny. That's all I could really hope for. I'm off to watch a movie... this is the life.

I hope you are healing up well. I got dry socket when I had my wisdom tooth removed. That was not fun. Not fun at all.
