With not enough teachers, they dropped my piano lessons.

So I enrolled in Russian. I don't know why not, but I couldn't get myself to sign up for Spanish. That would seem a more logical step; however, I felt like it wouldn't be most practical for me. Don't ask me why not. I'm an idea and feeling person, remember.

Alas. I keep drifting to the Fulbright website where I see that Russian is one of those languages for which Fulbright Scholars can recieve Critical Language Scholarships... and now I want one of those, too. Greedy I am. German was too popular and too-known of a language for that kind of scholarship.

I begin Russian, since I missed the official first two, tomorrow. Guess I shouldn't get so ahead of myself without having had the first class... it's just, I'm excited and excitement can help carry me. Strangely, it's been a stressful first week. Working at Russian might make it better--it just might.
