I didn't do here what I set out to.

I bet people are deeming me "wall-flower of the room" right now. I'm sitting in the corner of a coffee shop (I told you I was addicted to these places... but, also this is the only place I can get my internet to work) and I'm jamming away--mouthing lyrics even--to my music. I know, Rufus Wainright may not seem like real rockin' music, but he is. For real (except "Natasha" and a few of his other slow, dramatic songs).

Now, onto my quest. I'm writing a paper about the relationship between a poem and a painting--specifically between Parmigianino's painting, "Self-Portrait in a Convex Mirror," and John Ashbery's poem, "Self-Portrait in a Convex Mirror." If only I could trick myself into believing that the paper is due tomorrow. In fact, it IS due tomorrow. It is. It is.

Wait, what? My 10-12 page paper is due TOMORROW? No-WAY! I had better get writing.
