wheels
................................SOMETIMES, FALLING, I FIND THAT...
I’m snagged in the spokes of a Works mentality.
Guilt motivates deeds, which motivate guilt, which is never enough.
With legs immobile, wheels keep spinning.
I’m not sure—is this rebellion? Lying here with my pants still hinged?
With legs immobile, guilt keeps spinning.
I'm snagged in the spokes of a Deeds mentality.
I'm not sure--is this rebellion? Lying here with my wheels still hinged?
........What do you think of the one-line stanzas? Are they strong enough lines to stand alone?

This makes me think of times when I was your age and going through similar times that life seemed to drag on and I wasn't sure of what the future held for me. I probably still feel that way sometimes.
The one-line stanzas seem to hold their own quite well.
