i'm struggling with my work-load and classes. i'm just not sure i should be trying to add russian. i'm sort of embarrassed, but don't want to risk my sanity.

soon i should find out if it would be possible for me to enroll in a one-credit German independent study. i'm praying for a blessing, or some kind of answer to the problem of time and too much to do.

i cooked chicken for the first time today. broiled it, even. i left 5 people messages on their voice mails in efforts to prevent salmanila / de-frosting dilemmas. no one responded in time, but i think i'm good. kristen helped me after the fact--and just now, my mom--after all.
