how bad is it that my recent posts have come on pre-test days? how to procrastinate.

i'm singing in a studio recital on monday--two songs: Widmung and Sure on This Shining Night. if i can make myself believe that the songs sound good, i should be able to make an audience believe it too. i'll be wearing a blue dress.

after a two-day fall break (making it a four-day weekend), i should have been rested and rejuvenated for classes today. the opposite--especially when my 20 lb. bookbag fell from a high hook and landed on the back of my head (i was crouching); this before chemistry. i kept wondering if things weren't quite clicking for me due to some damage, but probably i was just unprepared. my blood sugar, normal.

i rode into some cyclists yesterday, who gave me some tips for future rides. enroute home, i made it up the final hill without stopping to walk--a first for me on the bike and i hope it means improvement.
